After presentations on vertabrates and mammals we take a closer look at the human skeleton. We are lucky to have a full sized skeleton in the classroom which means the children can see exactly how it works.
The children will have already been presented the different names of the skeleton in Spanish and Catalan, now they are presented with the names in English, extending their vocabulary and also allowing them to see and similarities or differences in the names. As a follow up the children can design their own poster of the skeleton and even make bones from white pasta.
