Reading in English class

It is well known that reading is a fundamental part of the learning process in Montessori’s pedagogy. In English lessons we have a wide range of strategies to encourage the children to read. We do not only use books, we also use Montessori material such as the “verb command cards” or the “phonetic booklets”. This encourages the children to continue reading and have fun learning new things.
