Unforgettable experience
Marbella, what a place. It isn’t easy to summarise what it has been. The National Selection Conference of EYP Spain, despite its dull name, could not be more packed with joy, adventure, passion and love. I must not be alone when I say that it is an experience that cannot be forgotten, an experience that makes you grow, makes you flourish (as was the slogan for the session) into a fully distinct, newer and better version of yourself. The end of a session like this, does not indicate the closing of a book, or even the passing of a page, but rather the end of the introduction to an entire novel up ahead. Leaving my mediocre poetry to a side, Marbella 2023 has been perhaps the best experience in my education so far.

For me, EYP is not only debating, it’s not only achieving a resolution, it’s not only making points in other resolutions. For me, EYP is a place where I can be myself, a place where I have found the most amazing people and where I’ve been able to expand my capacities in all levels, from being able to talk in front of lots of people to being able to express the way I feel without feeling judged.
EYP is a magical experience, it’s a way of working in which you don’t feel that you are working at all. You make a change while having fun and discovering new things and feelings.
