This week we have started preparing the English Oral Presentation in pairs. We split the group, and while half the class is searching for information about Greek and Roman culture (which they’ve been doing in Humanities class), the other half is doing a grammar activity: Present Perfect Continuous. We introduce it by listening to a song (“In the Shadows” by The Rasmus) and then we analyze its structure and how it is used in context. Next session we will swap the groups, so those who did the Oral Presentation will do the grammar activity and vice versa. All students will have to present their project in front of the class the first week of November.
