The objective of this session was to walk/run across uneven terrain and play games which involved speed, agility and co-ordination using the natural objects found in our woods.
One of their favourite games was “Duck, Duck, Goose”, which works like this: the children sit in a large circle in an open space and one child walks around the outside of the circle, touching each childs head chanting “duck” until he decides to say “goose” and the chosen child gets up and chases his opponant around the circle to reach his place first.
