Jump the Hoops Game
In groups of 3 or 4 each group has 5 hoops. On the signal the first child of each group runs to the line of hoops and jumps into each one with both feet together and returns to their group so the next child can do the same until each child has completed the line.
Variations of game – right foot, left foot, feet together or seperate.
Ball in Hoop Game
Using the hoops from the above game the first child runs to the first hoop, collects the ball and puts it into the second hoop, the next child collects the ball and puts it into the third hoop and so on until the ball reaches the end hoop.
Catch
In pairs, one child holds a hoop in front of them and the second child throws the ball into the hoop.
The children stand opposite each other and throw and catch the ball using under-arm.
