On Fridays we do physical activity in the woods.
In the woods we have four tracks: yellow, blue, green and red.
We do a physical activity session following the blue track. We work on the cardiovascular system.
When we get to the woods before we take the blue track we stop at the slopes and run uphill and downhill three times, this works the legs and reinforces the ankles.
We also work on strength and endurance. We run to the farm where we start the blue track. We stop at different points to regroup ourselves so the slowest catch up with the fast ones, whilst regrouping we do ten repettions of each exercise (jumping jacks, jumping forward and back, jumping from side to side….).
After completing the track we stretch and return to the classroom.
