Flower arranging is a practical life activity and helps the child develop independence and logical thought.
In these pictures you can see children from EI5 useing photograghs of flowers and word cards to learn the diferent names of flowers.Every week we recieve different types of flowers in the classroom and the children learn thier names and the names of the parts of the flower like petal,stem,leaf,bud.
The child is learning that flowers are a very important part of nature, not only are they beautiful but they are also food for insects and birds.
