On Monday, December 18, 2023, the EYP General Assembly was held throughout the morning with an incredible participation of all members.
In it, 6 different committees have defended their ideas, points and opinions: AFET, ECON FEMM, IMCO, DROI and LIBE; formed by ESO4 students.
The structure to be followed is the same for all six. It begins with a first reading of the topic to be defended, followed by a defense speech by the committee in question. Then two committees have the floor to point out the aspects they are not satisfied with the defense. The defense committee then has another turn to refute these points before moving on to open debate.
Finally, the proposing committee makes a closing statement, which is then voted on to determine whether their resolution is approved.
For the assembly, we had the participation of BTL1 and BTL2 students, divided into chairs who helped the committees, the presidents of the assembly, the jury and the media team.
In conclusion, we have experienced an event that has left us with incredible moments and speeches by the students, which after all is the most important thing.
