The Tortoise and the Hare
Each week we would read a page from the story and discuss each animal, building on the new vocabulary. To help with comprehension we had an action song to go with the story and flashcards to enrich the vocabulary, playing word games using comparative adjectives, faster/slower, story card sequencing for comprehension and smaller/bigger, big/biggest using the children from he class. Discrimination of size.
