The children put on a Christmas play for the families. The play explained how Christmas is celebrated in different parts of the world. The children learned their lines, as well as songs and poems in English. During this activity they get to practise their spoken English. They act, they use their body language and they learn how to express themselves on stage, all in English. In this instance they also learned about different Christmas traditions. During their art classes, they also created the props that they needed (crowns, stars, paper lanterns…).
´Los niños y las niñas representaron una obra de teatro frente a las familias. La obra contaba como se celebra la Navidad en diferentes países. Los niños y las niñas van aprendieron su papel, también canciones y poemas en inglés. Durante esta actividad, tienen ocasión de practicar la lengua hablada.
Actúan, usan la expresión corporal y aprenden a expresarse sobre el escenario. Todo en lengua inglesa. En este caso también han aprendido sobre las diferentes tradiciones de Navidad en todo el mundo. En las clases de plástica han creado los objetos que necesitaban para hacer la obra (coronas, farolillos de papel, estrellas …)´.
