The students have been back to school for a few weeks now and easing back into school life after summer. In the 3-6 class the returning students and new students have been working on classroom vocabulary in the English Circle so that they know the word with the corresponding object.
To do this we worked with classroom object flashcards and reinforced the learning with games: such as which object is missing? Can you find the….? This work helps the children understand the vocabulary that they hear and use in the classroom everyday.
Vocabulary used: classroom, sink, tap, table, chair, cupboard, drawer, shelf, pencil case, pencil, rubber, ruler, pencil sharpener, coloured pencils.
