A Photostory

The activity that the 1ESOC class has done today starts with a listening that explains a story about four friends who are having a conversation about the opening ceremony of a new café in their town. They think that the mayor is not important enough to do that kind of job, so they start thinking of a celebrity they would like to see opening the new café.
After reading the photostory and listening to it at the same time, the students have to predict/discuss in pairs what they think will happen next.
At the end of the lesson they share their ideas with the whole class. To finish the activity, a video that shows how the story ends is played on the digital board.
This activity requires a lot of interaction between the students and is a fun way to practise their oral skills.
