Hoops were placed in a circle around a central hoop. Each child stood inside a hoop, leaving one free. One child stood in the centre hoop and on a signal the children start to rotate in an anti-clockwise direction, jumping to the hoop on their right when it becomes free.
The child in the middle has to find a free hoop and jump into it stopping the rotation of children and the child to their right has to take their place in the centre hoop.
This activity promotes the childs experience of spacial awareness, right side, balance and speed.

The second activity involved working in teams of four. one child lay ontop of a large blue gym mat and the other three pull the mat to a given marker. Each child took turns lying ontop of the
mat.
The third activity was side roling and somersaults on the mats.
